Pravesh Sippy

After studying Films at the San Francisco Art Institute and assisting fabled editor duo Waman-Guru, Pravesh produced five superhit Hindi movies and subsequently forayed into international co-production ventures, like Indo-Finnish film The Real Mc-Coy (1999). The Square Circle (TIME Magazine’s top 10 pick, World Premiere Toronto International Film Festival and US Premiere at Hamptons International Film Festival) received two awards at the Valenciennes Film Festival and excellent reviews at the Singapore International Film Festival.

Pravesh Sippy produced English movie Refuge (2002) with an ensemble cast: Sarita Choudhury, Madeleine Potter and Philip Tabor. In 2002, Pravesh collaborated with iconic director Suresh Krissna on Telugu film Idi Maa Ashokgadi Love Story for Nimbus Motion Pictures. The same year, Mr. Suniel Shetty’s company, Popcorn Motion Pictures invited Pravesh to be their Creative Director. He produced a large scale Bollywood musical stage event called Bollywood – A Love Story directed by Remo. The play went international with shows in Finland and Sweden. He has been the honorable guest lecturer at two of America’s finest schools, The Yale University (New Haven) and The University of Texas (Austin).
